Center for Networked Computing

Mission

Focused on network technology and its applications, CNC’s mission is to advance the development of network technology and its applications by combining resource of government, industry and academia and to train students who will be leaders in the field. CNC research areas include mobile computing and wireless networks, computer and network security, distributed computing, fault-tolerant systems, parallel and high-performance computing, cyber-physical systems, power and failure-aware management, data-intensive computing and cloud computing.

Internet of Things

Development of an Information Assurance and Performance Infrastructure for the Internet of Things: This project will develop a novel infrastructure (also referred to as the testbed) to support information assurance and performance (IAP) in the Internet of Things (IoT). The testbed will enable novel research for secure IoT communication, task-resource allocation, robust data storage, and computation offloading in IoT systems.
