“My dream [was] always to develop a career in science and medicine, and the Scientific Writing PSM program opened doors to career paths in these fields that I never knew existed. This program gave me specialized knowledge in scientific and medical communications, equipping me with valuable skills and many networking opportunities. I’m incredibly grateful for my journey, which led to exciting experiences in gene therapy communications and now to my role as a Senior Communications Manager at ChristianaCare.”

PSM, Scientific Writing, Temple University, '19
“In my undergrad at Temple University, I majored in English with a minor in Biology, so I’ve always wanted to find a career that could combine those two passions of mine. After graduating in 2017, I stumbled upon Temple’s PSM in Scientific Writing program, and it was a perfect match. The program’s core curriculum was strong in that it gave me the background and tools to tackle a role as a medical writer. I learned how to communicate scientific information effectively through hands-on projects, while learning about the industry landscape from professionals who have gone through similar journeys. Since completing the PSM program, I’ve been working as a Medical Writer at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine, and I’m grateful to Temple’s PSM program for preparing me for a career that matches both my skills and interests.”
