Temple University’s Office of Vice President for Research (OVPR) where I serve as Director of Research Development supports our scientists, researchers and trainees to learn, create, discover and innovate. Previously at Temple I served as Associate Professor (Instruction) and Managing Director of the Professional Science Master’s Programs (PSM) in the Department of Biology. The PSM programs create an alternative career path for STEM majors who are seeking opportunities in the pharmaceutical industry, and I oversaw program development of seven new Master’s program and seven Graduate Certificates. I continue in my role as instructor for two PSM courses as Adjunct Faculty in Biology, Biol 5505/5511 Ethics in Biotechnology/ Bioinformatics and Biol 5506 Professional Development where I assist with career planning and job placements for PSM students. I obtained my Ph.D. in Genetics from Thomas Jefferson University, Post-Doctoral training in Fox Chase Cancer Center and Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from Sophia College for Women, Mumbai University.
