My expertise lies in conservation biology, disease ecology, animal behavior, and mammalian ecophysiology. In the Sewall Lab, my research focuses on white-nose syndrome, an emerging infectious disease of hibernating bats.

Specifically, we aim to better understand intraspecific drivers of variation in bat susceptibility to white-nose syndrome and their implications for population persistence and management in affected areas. More information can be found on my website: https://mariannegagnon.weebly.com/.
