I’m an early career researcher building on my strengths in biological research design, big data analytics, and bioinformatic software development. I am pursuing my PhD in Bioinformatics with Dr. Sergei Pond. I'm interested in the strength of selection on synonymous codons, and in the impact of weak selection on codon evolution. I develop and maintain computational tools for comparative analysis of sequence data, which facilitate my research interests.
I earned my Bachelor's degree in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of California, Berkeley. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy exploring Philadelphia, playing board games, and spending time with friends.
