College resources supporting learning and professional development.
The Center for Academic Advising and Professional Development guides students--from new student orientation through graduation--to ensure they complete all degree requirements. Faculty advisors in each major use their knowledge of departmental curriculum to help students choose courses consistent with their specific career objectives.
Preparing students for successful careers.
The center also prepares students to enter careers through student professional development activities. Students are encouraged to find experiential education through internships and undergraduate research. Students can connect to internships and full-time employment at the college’s fall and spring job fairs.
Professional development staff members offer one-to-one coaching, group workshops, virtual resume reviews and employer networking events for all CST students. Each week, CST students receive an email update with information about available internships/jobs, upcoming professional development workshops, employer visits, and campus and local events.
