This fall, David Litwin joined the Department of Earth and Environmental Science as an assistant professor of instruction. His teaching and research interests include hydrology, surface processes, data analysis and numerical modeling. He earned a PhD from Johns Hopkins University in 2023 and was most recently a postdoctoral researcher at the Helmholtz Center for Geosciences in Potsdam, Germany. Litwin teaches Elements of Data Science and Environmental Science Senior Seminar, and will teach Groundwater Hydrology in the spring.
