My name is Neferteri Gist, and I am currently in my third year as an instructor at Temple University, with prior experience as a K-6 substitute teacher for four years in the Bensalem School District. At Temple, I have contributed to the Department of Biology and am now actively involved in the Allegra Family Math and Science Teacher Education Center. My primary focus is on educating students about STEM and exploring innovative ways to integrate STEM concepts into secondary education. I teach courses covering biology, chemistry, physics, life sciences, and environmental science, along with a student teaching course designed to deepen students’ understanding of teaching theory, pedagogy, and effective instructional practices.
