Marcella Macaluso, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biology. Dr. Macaluso hold an International PhD in Cellular and Molecular Oncopathology. Dr. Macaluso has over 20 years of expertise in the biomedical field with special focus on cancer genetics and epigenetics. Dr. Macaluso is the author of over 80 peer-reviewed publications and book chapters, serves as a member of editorial boards for professional journals, and is a frequent research grant reviewer for federal and international funding agencies. Dr. Macaluso has mentored national and international graduate students and post-doctoral fellows. Dr. Macaluso teaches both graduate and undergraduate courses, including Epigenetics, Genetics, Cancer Diagnostics & Therapeutics, and Integrative Biology courses.
