I am a Master’s student in the Department of Biology at Temple University’s College of Science and Technology, working in Dr. Brent Sewall’s Lab. My research examines the animal mediated processes that drive forest regeneration following extreme weather events, focusing on how tornado disturbances influence small mammal foraging behavior and seed dispersal dynamics. I am committed to creating curiosity driven learning environments and supporting students in developing skills in field ecology, data analysis, and science communication. I also serve as a Research Assistant at the Temple Ambler Field Station, where I mentor undergraduate interns through independent projects and collaborative field studies investigating how disturbance shapes forest resilience.
