My name is Kadja Whitesell and I am a first generation STEM student. I work in the Hsieh Lab as part of the Biology Department of the College of Science and Technology at Temple University. As I work toward my master's thesis, I am researching Fishing Spiders and how they adapt to locomotion after losing limbs. I am active in both the BGSS and TUCG here on campus and volunteer with Letters to a Pre-Scientist outside of university life.
