I am an Assistant Professor of Instruction in the Biology Department within the College of Science and Technology at Temple University. I teach courses in Data Science, DNA: Friend or Foe, and First-Year Seminar, and I coordinate the BIOL 1112 course each spring. My primary focus is teaching and mentoring first-year Biology majors, and I also serve as a Department Faculty Advisor.
I have a background in educational assessment and previously served as an Internal Evaluator for a Naval Compute-STEM Program Grant. My passion lies in STEM education, and I serve as a faculty advisor for FunScienceDemos, a Temple-made YouTube channel that promotes global science education. Additionally, I review manuscripts for Science Scope, the National Science Teaching Association’s journal for middle school science educators.
