I am a teaching faculty member and for that reason do not have active research on going. My involvement is with curriculum development and learning more effective ways to teach. I am committed to being inclusive with my teaching style. I teach Scientific Writing courses. With an extensive writing background, I hope to bring my experience to this important subject. I had three decades of research experience prior to starting at Temple. I use my years of research background to help with the courses I teach. In the Spring term I teach Physiology. Another part of my involvement is coordinating labs for the Cell and Molecular Biology 2112 and honors 2912. I am very involved with developing new labs and optimizing existing ones. In addition, I am on the Faculty Senate, serving on several committees there. I received a Merit Teaching Award in the Spring of 2025.
