I am a PhD student working in the lab of Dr. Weidong Yang. I am interested primarily in molecular structural biology, and developing, modifying, and applying microscopy techniques, in the pursuit of understanding protein structures and interactions. Currently, my project is focused on gaining a better understanding of the export of pre-ribosomal subunits through the nuclear pore complex (NPC).
