I am a Ph.D. student in the Biology Department of the College of Science and Technology at Temple University. I have previously taught BIOL 1111 and 1911, and I am currently mentoring undergraduate students in the Cordes Lab. My research focuses on how Lophelia pertusa health has changed over time in the Viosca Knoll sites of the Northern Gulf of Mexico, especially with anthropogenic disturbances and environmental changes. I am interested in science communication and am committed to fostering a sense of inclusion and belonging within the graduate program and beyond. I currently serve as Vice President of the Biology Graduate Student Society (BGSS), and I have previously served as Secretary of BGSS, and as an executive board member of CST Graduate Student Organization (CST GSO).
