Dr. Reiss is an Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology in the College of Science and Technology at Temple University, where he primarily teaches the Introduction to Organismal Biology laboratory course. He earned his PhD from Seton Hall University for his research on host antiviral immune response to molluscum contagiosum virus. Following his doctorate, he worked in Drug Discovery and Research & Development at Johnson & Johnson in their Colorectal Cancer group. He is currently a postdoctoral fellow at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, where his research focuses on adeno-associated virus gene therapy development for Hemophilia A.
