The Department of Earth and Environmental Science at Temple University invites applications for a full-time non-tenure track Instructional Faculty appointment in the area of Water Resources. The particular specialization within hydrology and water resources is flexible, but the successful candidate is expected to teach a course in Groundwater Hydrology. Additional course areas include GIS, data analysis, and sustainability. In addition to instruction the candidate is expected to guide undergraduate research projects. Collaboration among faculty is strongly encouraged. The initial appointment will be for 1 year with the option to renew for an additional year. Temple University is a state-related, R1 university located in the vibrant, urban center of Philadelphia.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. by the appointment start date of July 1, 2025.
