postbacc program
Learn. Grow. Succeed.
Looking for a career in health care?
Our program provides the academic preparation and tools needed to get you into professional school.
Our program
Our program is designed specifically to maximally benefit students planning to apply to medical schools, dental schools, and physician assistant programs. We are also happy to have our design benefit students who are more interested in physical therapy, podiatry, or pharmacy school.
We are proud to incorporate outstanding faculty, pre-health-customized curricula, and top-tier resources for student support, including multiple forms of advising, standardized test preparation (no extra cost or hidden fees!), and an emphasis on our students' academic evolution.
The curriculum has been crafted with two priorities in mind: 1) to lay a strong foundation for the scientific content on the ever-important standardized tests that will be a major factor in our students being competitive professional school applicants and 2) to equip our students with the knowledge, discipline, and strategies to successfully transition into the first year of professional school.
Our program is the best fit for students who want a supportive, professional-school-like academic environment as they endeavor to demonstrate their academic prowess in a full year of full-time science coursework. Our cohort model is designed around postbacc exclusive coursework (our Pre-PA students will take 1-2 classes with undergraduates) with small class sizes in order to minimize busy work, cultivate a more supportive environment, and improve learning outcomes.
Beyond the classroom, the program has a year-long advising curriculum that includes our learning skills "menu" and professional school application development. The program also supports its students beyond the academic year, through mock interview sessions and a Committee Letters for a student who complete the program.
