Kate Lyons, CST '20, a geology major from Wallingford, Pa., is a resilience and environmental planner for the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and Association of Bay Area Governments
California is already facing devastating impacts from climate change, and it’s the job of Lyons to help one of the state’s largest population centers adapt. As an environmental planner, she plans on a regional level to help the nine-county Bay Area, including San Francisco and Oakland, prepare for impending environmental threats.
