A variety of events are available for CST students and alumni including Fall & Spring job fairs, employer networking events, professional development workshops, and employer visits. Information regarding specific events is shared through our weekly CST Opportunities newsletter, the CST Student Professional Development Canvas Site, and can typically be found in Handshake.

CST Job Fair

CST Job Fairs are for College of Science and Technology students and alumni seeking full- & part-time jobs and internships. These are opportunity for you to present yourself professionally to many potential employers, while showcasing your technical and interpersonal skills. Students are encouraged to attend beginning their first year to get experience and learn about the different employers. The keys to a successful job fair experience are preparation and follow up.

Employer Meet Ups

Held before each CST Job Fair, students are invited to spend time talking with employers who will be attending the CST Job Fair in a relaxed, casual environment. You can learn more about their organizations, give them your resume, and be one step closer to landing a job or internship!

Employer Visits

Employers who partner with CST discuss various topics with students, especially in the current COVID-19 time period. Students will have the opportunity to learn about companies and organizations directly from recruiters who hire CST students! Details regarding employer visits are shared in the CST Opportunities newsletter.

Learn From Alumni

Throughout the year, CST Alumni visit campus to talk with students about their industry experience, how to land an internship/job, and more! Information regarding specific alumni visits are shared through the CST Opportunities newsletter. We encourage students to take advantage of these visits!
