CIS students win hackathon

More than 30 students from the Department of Computer & Information Sciences traveled 10 hours by bus to North Carolina to participate in CodeLinc, a hackathon sponsored by Lincoln Financial Group. Temple was the only non-North Carolina team invited to the event. The students coded for more than 24 hours to build a web site that helps veterans access services. Temple earned first place, along with students from UNC-Charlotte. The Temple student's success was also covered by a North Carolina television station. Watch the report here.
