This fall, the College of Science and Technology will celebrate its 20th anniversary as a college within Temple University. To mark the occasion, CST is hosting these events:
Thursday, November 1
Time, Einstein and the coolest stuff in the universe
Provost Lecture celebrating CST’s 20th with Nobel Laureate William Daniel Phillips, PhD
This will be a lively, multimedia presentation, including exciting experimental demonstrations and down-to-earth explanations about some of today's hottest (and coolest) science.
2:00 p.m. lecture and 3:30 p.m. reception
Friday, November 2
CST 20th Anniversary Reception
Celebrate the College of Science and Technology’s 20 years of discoveries and innovations at Temple University. Join University and CST leadership, faculty, researchers, staff and students for a light reception in the Science Education and Research Center (SERC).
Time: 3:00p.m. to 5:00p.m.
Meet the Makers: a presentation and panel discussion with wine vintners
Want to know first-hand what wine making is all about? Spend the evening learning from CST faculty and alumni winemakers on their wine-making styles.
Tickets are $25 and include heavy hors d'oeuvres, wine bar and a souvenir CST wineglass.
